Projects/What we did:

Bathroom remodel:

We designed one guest bathroom in our house, which we bought in 2017:

Before:

Very Dated original from 1986 when the house was build:

Original Style from 1986 :/Very Dated Bathroom from 1986!

After 8 Weeks of work:

New everything!!Bathtub is history :-) New roomy shower with frameless glassdoorNew everything! Clean and Bright :-)Huge shower with rain shower head

Everything is new. We ripped out the old Tub, the mirror, light and vanity. There was a Wall between Toilette and Vanity - we removed it, so the room seems bigger and brighter.
Everything is in white and light warm grays. The countertop is Quarz with a light gray veining. The floor tile is clean and a darker gray. all fixtures are chrome. The frameless shower wall gives the room a noble and bright look. We build a bench in the shower for shaving or just sitting ;-). We added two recessed lights in the ceiling in addition to the light above the sinks.

Our next Project was a Fireplace ReDo:

It was so hard to find someone who was willing and able to do our outdated Fireplace in exact the way we wanted it to look like. I had the design already in my head when we moved in this house 2017. It took us almost a year to find someone to do the required work. The company who did all the work in the bathroom has been too busy, we don't wanted to wait any longer! Than we got an estimate from a company which is specialized in doing just fireplaces. NO WAY that we pay that much! Than a neighbor gave us a name, very skilled person. He was the one! Since our house is more on the traditional side, we couldn't go too modern. I choose stacked stones in a light color and a almost untreated piece of Walnut as Mantle. We raised the hearth, so we can sit on it or use it as display for whatever we want :-)

Before:

Outdated georgian pink marble :o build in 1986outdated white mantle

After:

Stacked stone with raised outer hearth - walnut mantlea very contemporary look, not too modern!

The Stone we bought, came from: http://www.jimcostone.com/index.php
All items have been in stock, so we could pick it up immediately.

For the Mantle I went with our contractor to: http://www.peachstatelumber.com
Amazing Wood for everything :-)

This transformation is amazing! We created a brand new room with this look! We are very proud of this design :-)
